Artist Feature: Andreas Nitschke
...identities and creatures...
With the classic cut-and-paste approach to his collages, Andreas Nitschke aims to express the “cruel and ugly that lives in the human at best.” Although his methods are simple and childlike, he feels this creates a more drastic outcome with his created identities and creatures, immediately surfacing feelings in the viewer, oftentimes of disturbance and discomfort.
